What a great addition to my aquarium without even touching the water! I didn't want my fish to be bathed in colored light but I love it when the color changes so this is a great alternative. I put it on the table at the back of the tank and it works amazing. The fish do not appear to be traumatized by colored light. It also creates a neat effect for the room. The price was right. It will not get better!

A good and inexpensive idea to replace the old light tubes and LED lamps on the lid of any aquarium. I didn't like it installed in the back. You will see the lights when you look at the aquarium from the front. The best option is the downward light. You can install two of them with different size and timer with different lighting settings. Use your imagination, you will have a great fish tank.

This is a good product IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE LINING. DO NOT follow the instructions, just stick it on the back. I tried to do it according to the instructions, but in the end it turned out to be mush. The air bubbles will never come out and it looks awful. The first photo is when I tried to attach it the way you "should" and the second after I bought another one and just glued it to the back. (I also installed a second row of lights from the top to make it look more blue.)

Because LEDs can display multiple colors, even when set to "White" there is some color in the light. I bought these when our 10g lighted aquarium hood burned out. The suction cups were strong enough to stick even to this old rough plastic. It lights up a 10g tank VERY well and the light looks nice. Like it's worth a lot more than it was. A small disappointment were the light changing settings. We played with settings that change colors for the first few minutes, but the settings are too aggressive. This is a 10-11 inch three bulb LED upgrade that came with my 5 gallon tank (I believe there are 15 LEDs). I have 4 plants so I hope this light will be enough; it seems bright enough. I was hoping the light would be brighter. I put it on top of my 30 gallon tank in the original hood and the light wasn't bright at all. I ended up using suction cups to hold it in the glass top tank and it looks better. Unfortunately, the suckers suck - or maybe they don't suck enough - because one of them pops up every week.
