Review on 🐠 MingDak LED Aquarium Light: Wireless Remote Control, RGB Colored Changing, Adjustable Brightness - Underwater Submersible Fish Tank LED Light by Michelle Hall

Update: I bought a second 7.5 inch color light for the smaller tank as I had good experience with the first one. The seller emailed me offering to send me additional suction cups per my rating below but as I already have some I will not take their offer. I appreciate that they contacted me and felt it was very proactive of them. .I bought this lantern to replace a 36 gallon tank with a lid. For this I needed a long (ideally 23") flashlight with strong suction cups and enough brightness for a deep tank, and the remote control and color wheel were second to none. very good. It has many color options and has brightness adjustment. The fit is perfect for mine Aquarium.Now I have the problem that on the highest settings it's not as bright as I'd like and the suction cups keep popping.I keep finding the light floating on the water surface so every day I have to open the lid and reattach it. It gets very annoying. Even though the color options are nice and plentiful, they're presets, so if you need a tone between two presets, you're out of luck. Finally, there's an IR sensor in the flashlight that serves as Switch that turns the light on and off and also changes colors.The problem with this is that it's too big and needs to be visible when you want to use the remote control. I personally don't want to see it, but it should be hanging somewhere in front of the tank or above it. Also, the power connector is closer to the power supply than to the light bulb. So if I want to remove the cap I have to reach the end of the tank to find that connector and pull the cable out in front of the tank so I can then take the cap off. My old flashlight had the connector closer to the flashlight, about 6 inches from the cover, so it was a lot easier. These are design details that would have made the product better, but overall I'm happy with the lamp. I may need to add additional suction cups and see if I can fix this problem. Despite everything, I would recommend this lamp.
