Review on GE 39971 Direct Wire Converter for Linkable Light Fixtures - Junction Box, Control Multiple Lights from One Switch, Cord-Free Design - White by Erica Jackson

I converted an old direct wire fluorescent tube to the new GE Embrighten LED backlight. These boxes are basically junction boxes and you make the connections inside with wire nuts. The installation guide lists one LED connector per box, but the boxes I received had two connectors. The connection cable for the lighting fits into one plug and nothing that comes with the lighting fits into the other, I don't know what that is for. If you have a solid #14 Romex coming out of the wall and attaching wires to it from both terminals, you will find that the wire nuts provided are too small. I used my own wire nuts as I prefer the winged scotch lock type. The end result looked great and the wire connections are hidden and secure.
