Review on SONY VRD VC10 DVDirect External Recorder by Payton Stovall
The weighty best among DVD players and recorders
The goods arrived, were installed quickly and then the "fun" started. I got a list of valid drives online and tried updating the software, but Sony has stopped supporting this article. When I asked about the software, I got a message that they "would be happy to fix it for a flat fee" ($100), nothing about the existence of software updates. So I removed and installed some data on the recommended DVD and after an hour I tried to finalize the disc and it gave me an error. Right now I'm trying to decide if I should just give it up and cut my losses.
