I like keyless fobs and the keyboard input is convenient for guests. We keep the keys in our cars in case the batteries run out, but we also want them to beep when opened to let you know when the batteries are low. We haven't tested that yet. It was a bit difficult to program because the instructions were too simple and not specific enough. But I found alternative troubleshooting instructions while searching YouTube. Tip: When programming, press and hold the lock button at each step. This will save you a lot of frustrations that I went through. In general, I like the purchase, and installing it was not difficult. But an extra tip: insert batteries before installation. Batteries are hard to get by putting the cover back on. You may need three hands.
