Trucks are getting taller and taller these days and it's difficult for some of us people with disabilities to jump onto the bed. It was a good secure option for bed access. Delivered VERY quickly and installation was easy. Sat on my back in the driveway for about 30 minutes. The hardware that comes with it is perfect and the installation is the easiest I've ever done. The trickiest part is removing the small bearing mount on the bumper with the body, and some sort of flex drive or knuckle makes these 10mm bolts easy to loosen. The rest is very easy. (There are a lot of comments here and elsewhere on the internet about removing this brace. It's a very light piece of metal and I don't really see how it could be a problem removing it.) The step is some sort of poly/resin -Material and it's just the whole montage that bothers me. I'd rather see some kind of metal step. This may be an unfounded concern as many of the other reviews here are longer term and have had no issues. Definitely a nice and easy upgrade!
