See this paragraph? It is important. If you don't have an exact thigh length, you know that it's almost impossible to crouch without falling forward. Solution? Stand with your heels on 25-pound plates. Or...buy these. I didn't have high hopes for these shoes but I'm shocked they fit the bill. Stop standing on plates! The soles are firm with no play so your feet don't move (a big risk factor if you're currently using squat shoes). Great price, great features. If you think you don't need these shoes, try them and you will change your mind.
