I converted to the climbing shoe religion!

See this paragraph? It is important. If you don't have an exact thigh length, you know that it's almost impossible to crouch without falling forward. Solution? Stand with your heels on 25-pound plates. Or...buy these. I didn't have high hopes for these shoes but I'm shocked they fit the bill. Stop standing on plates! The soles are firm with no play so your feet don't move (a big risk factor if you're currently using squat shoes). Great price, great features. If you think you don't need these…

Reebok's best all round lifters since their first versions

UPDATE: 3 months later and I still love using them for lifting, squats and crossfit training! They fit me perfectly ie I wear 11.5 for all my reeboks, nanos, lifters etc. MUST BUY if you like first gen Reebok lifters. I love these lifters! I was looking for straps that I can still use during my CrossFit training since the first generation Reebok straps are worn with plastic heels. I've used Innovates and Reebok Cumming's Lifters, both great shoes but too heavy for my CrossFit workouts. They are

Great shoes for weightlifting

When I first tried on this shoe in my size, it was a little tight. However, when I used it for squats at the gym, the shoe broke in immediately and felt comfortable. My squat became more stable while I was able to squat lower. These shoes are an incredible value and I would highly recommend them to anyone with a short side.

Ideal for weightlifting

Some important points for your decision. If you are not that tall <= 5 feet 10 inches you should use this Reebok Lifter PR II which is 15 millimeters. If you're new to weightlifting (squats, cleans, snatches, etc.) provides heel support and better foot placement.

Great shoes for the price!

I decided to write a review about them because for some reason there is very little information about them on the net. A YouTube video or two, nothing more, and for some reason I felt compelled to write my very first Revain review. So let's get started, let me tell you this is my first weightlifting and squat shoe so keep that in mind. I've argued for a long time between them and the Adidas Powerlift 3 as they're sort of in the same league so to speak, but I ended up buying them mainly because…

Great shoe that will definitely change the way you approach climbing

My first pair of official shoes. Always resorted to the help of Chuck Taylors. This is completely different. They keep you very grounded and stable, almost to the point where I need some adjustment time. The shoes are heavy which I like. In my opinion, they fit perfectly and true to size if the socks are not too thin. In them you will not get much joy from jumping and running. But for squats, deadlifts, or anything that requires a stable stance, they're perfect. They look GREAT, went black but…

Good shoe Shoe

These shoes are comfortable for me and I have a very wide foot and high arch. I usually wear shoes in widths of 2E to 4E. They are a bit tight around the ankle and tend to bump in one spot. But after wearing them only a few times, they feel that they wear out and don't get bored. I stick my tongue out a bit and that seems to help. In terms of comfort and quality, I can recommend them. In terms of athletic performance in the squat or deadlift, it's hard to say. This is my first pair of…

Perfect! for men

I've been throwing weights for years, but just decided to get some real lift shoes to help me conquer the squat plateau. My favorite training shoe is the Reebok Nano X, great wide toe box, stability and comfort but still roomy where you need it. , so picking a Reebok for weightlifters was easy (and let's face it, there are few options, and only if you want a little extra toe room). The Reebok Lifter PR II men's elliptical cross trainer is the least "lifting" shoe on the market, meaning it leans

They change your position

I've been hesitant to buy climbing shoes for years. I saw no point in spending so much money on something that might not be of any use. Finally gave up and bought. First things first: These are climbing shoes. Don't use them for anything else. I usually do CrossFit in CrossFit shoes. These shoes feel like the stiffest running shoes - they have a stable heel. If you have running shoes, you will feel the difference. I didn't feel any difference in squats/deadlifts compared to the Nano 7-8, but I…
