Ideal for getting rid of long cords that plug into the cigarette lighter socket. Very easy to install, just locate the positive and negative wires in each wire harness and insert the wire into the back of the machine where the appropriate positive and negative wires are located. I tied the rest of the wire to the rear view mirror wiring harness and connected the wire to the radar detector and it works. Pretty easy, no stripping, no fiddling with slivers of wire, no tape.
