I bought sponges like this before from a mineral paint brand and thought these types of sponges are so cool and a great idea. With the other brand, I was able to reuse them a couple times.With these sponges, although they work good, I could not reuse a second time because they left a spongy blue powder on my paint surface. So overall, I made out better with a more expensive brand I could use a few times.For any brand you buy though, you cannot use only one sponge for an infinite amount of time when painting. Understand that they get saturated and will start dragging the paint at that point. So if you paint a chair, let's say, you'll likely need to switch to a new sponge for the next chair. And with a good brand you get get a maybe 2-3 uses out of each sponges if you wash them immediately before the paint dries on them.
