Review on Dorman 615-180 Engine Intake Manifold: A Perfect Fit for Select Models by Austin Hearshman

It would be 5 stars but this installation was far from easy it should have been easy but what happened wasn't I hope everything is fine , keep my fingers crossed. Firstly there is a removable inner part that fits into the air intake or junction box, this part does not match the holes in the gasket, one of which was 1/4 inch, I had to remove the inner duct opening to use the heat gun very carefully. To stretch it to align with the padding, luckily it worked on the first try, I almost used the bad one (original) because it fitted perfectly. Dorman has to chew on a quality control. It wasn't enough then, the new air intake was a lot thicker which is good but not as I had to saw off part of the alternator bracket to install it without forcing the air intake under the bracket which would ruin my new gasket, after i did this the air intake sits right on top of the bottom air intake without getting in the way having spent most of the day installing it so far so ok dorman i think you can design better than the
