One reviewer stated that the Super Pet changed the sand. I agree. The texture is definitely different from the touch. It's denser, heavier and strangely wet to the touch. And well, my hamsters don't care. I buy sand for them for two purposes: bathing and digging. Since I can't get her to bathe in it I figured I could make it diggable. So I added (ONLY ONE POWDER) ground walnut shells. I can barely feel the grenades that have landed, but they break the weight of the sand so much my hamsters are now digging in it. It is very sweet. As far as fur care is concerned, I depend on fresh bed linen. They know how much they love it when their nest is cleaned. b
