I just took it in my hands and realized that I was really holding a THING. I really liked the hood - solid and "suede" inside to keep dust particles. I was pleased with the same coverage after the rear lens. The focus is instant and does not fidget like some. PICTURE MAGIC! on the crop it may seem far away, but for me this is only a plus. The front and back backgrounds are very contrasting. P. S. The letter L on it and the red stripe are not show-offs, as I thought at first. This is a great tool in the right hands. Take it if you need such a focal length, Iβm telling you for sure!
- Damn sharp at f2, magically blurs the background, very well made and not heavy, high contrast.
- difficult to put on the cap with the hood on and impossible to put on the hood with the cap on. but these are trifles.
