Review on 57S 2001 Performance Air Intake System by Tony Hanson

Absolute rubbish, This technique should only be good by reputation. However, this is not the case. This air intake was installed on my 2014 328i and I can tell you the craftsmanship is top notch at best. It's a hard plastic which is ok but you can tell the cast has been taken, it has flaws, extra plastic everywhere. The holes for installing the filter are not pre-drilled and are difficult to line up correctly. The air intake cover should be installed last, but the screws are underneath and almost impossible to get in. My f30 also has a vacuum line that needs to be installed in the intake and there is no option for that on this K&N so now I have to go to a Mickey Mouse parts store to have that vacuum line installed. I would return but there is no box and it is already installed. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY! Buy a Mishimoto or an Ingen instead.
