As an IT Infrastructure specialist we rely heavily on VMware environments for our daily operations. Having this tool integrated with the cloud services also adds another level of security from potential threats. The ease of use of VMWare and the ability to manage my fleet more efficiently than using physical servers is great! It's not perfect and we did end up having to pay for support. I had contacted their forums and they said some issues were being addressed but others weren't. But as an organization I cannot always be 100% certain what you're doing so sometimes there will be times when it is better to just trust that it is working properly. This has increased our overall reliability and saved us time with managing our infrastructure. We were unable to have a fully automated environment before. Using VMWare has enabled us to keep most of our virtual machines and environments updated on a nightly basis without any manual intervention. I like how easy this software was for me since i am not very tech savvy at all! It allowed us to easily see what our customers where doing when they were logged into their account with switch fast technologies services!! The cost can be expensive so make sure you know exactly why your buying these type of programs because there are many other cheaper options out there but if you need customer service then definitely go here. !
