Addendum: After using the mount for a few months I have more confidence in it. I try not to twist the straps when inserting the phone. In 650 miles of travel not a single strap has come loose. Review: I've used the phone holder a few times and found I wasn't entirely sure it would hold my Galaxy S9, although I have to say I have evidence that it protected the phone when dropped . I fell because I couldn't let go of the pedals fast enough and it held the phone really securely so I can be a bit harsh in my criticism as I have actual evidence that it did what it was designed to do . Straps that go around the corners of the phone, if they have a bend, they will roll off the corner of the phone from the vibration when driving. This has happened to me, it makes me a little heartbroken to think that just a little silicone strap saved me from an expensive repair bill. But the phone was held by three straps. My fears relate to potential errors, not actual errors.
