I have an older Dewalt DW400 grinder and I don't think these grinders were originally designed to use cut-off wheels. I wanted to be able to use the cutting disc with my grinder as I already have the tool. However, when I mounted the cut-off wheel on the grinder, it didn't tighten the wheel enough no matter how hard I tightened the nut. Even after trying to use regular thick washers it still wouldn't tighten. Even after asking a question on the Revain community, I didn't get a clear answer, so I ordered anyway. I received the flange today and posted a video of me installing this flange and YES it worked with my grinder. Just make sure you install this flange correctly and you can use the cut-off wheel with your Dewalt grinder. Just make sure you tighten the nut before using the grinder! and sorry for the heavy breathing during the video.
