Good elastic leather, well padded in the heel area. If the white piping around the sole were dark, you could wear this shoe almost like business casual. The fit was perfect (11M) and no "breaking in" was required. I definitely recommend them.

- Bought for my husband for the garden. Perfect for that!
Cons
- After a few months of very light wear, the stitching started to unravel. These shoes are not durable. :-(
