Great 4k display for the price!

I was looking for a new 32" monitor for my 2016 15" MacBook Pro. My old 25" 1440p monitor was feeling a bit dated and I wanted something with more screen real estate. The first thing I would like to point out is the uniformity of black and gray on this monitor. Some of the other reviewers are correct in saying that it's not perfect and can be very noticeable. However, I think that under normal circumstances this is not a problem. When I first set up the monitor, the very first thing that struck me was the uniformity (probably because I had read so much about it beforehand). However, I found that due to the fact that it's new, I was probably only too aware of it, and I carefully studied every detail. I told myself I would give the monitor a week or so to see if I got used to it. - and I did. I think it took a few days, but eventually I forgot about the black and gray uniformity issues when using my text editor. Sure, I can see that the top part of my text editor is a bit lighter than the middle part, but I don't really notice it unless I'm looking. I installed it about 2 feet from the monitor which is the ideal distance to see this issue. If you're sitting more than 3 feet away, it's not that big of a deal. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. Unless you're super picky about how the display looks, I'm willing to bet most people won't notice any uniformity issues. I spend all day designing and developing and it doesn't affect my daily life at all.
