This is one of the best phone mounts I've seen, especially for $10 or $11. Great gooseneck, strong, holds everything in place. But wait: it's solid EXCEPT for the plastic nut. I had another phone mount similar to where a cheap plastic nut broke. They're probably pretty common. I found a solution at Ace Hardware (unfortunately cost me $3 but cheaper than a new bracket): --> Hillman 7/8-14 Thin Pattern SAE Nylon Insert Stop Nut Zinc, #44230-JE It's a metal nut, and I'm sure many nuts with (A.) fine thread and (B.) 7/8" thread will fit. If I could find a plastic or nylon nut that would be great too. Fasteners, but I'm hoping it helps , if the plastic nut inevitably breaks!Will update this if I find a better solution.If you have a better solution please leave a comment.
