I have ordered 2 of these monitors both with amazing specs. The first one I ordered worked for a month with no issues, dead pixels etc. Then, conveniently, after the return window expired the 'red menu button' on the back of the monitor stopped working completely. Tried every option. nothing. I couldn't change any of the monitor settings or even switch to other inputs (e.g. from CPU to Nintendo Switch). I tried changing the settings using the Gaming OSD app. But it didn't want to work either, although I tried everything step by step. So I decided to order a second monitor instead of paying half the cost of the OG monitor to fix it. This MSI monitor has the perfect specs for content creation and the second one will help with live streaming, so I gave it another try. Hooray, dead pixel right out of the box. Since it's out of the way, I don't have to send it in for repairs. Note, however, that I've had issues with two of these monitors in a row ($400+). I can name a dead pixel "Gary" so I don't feel dead every time I see a pixel. (Mostly a joke haha). Everything else about these monitors is great. Colors, smoothness, customizability and more, this is the perfect monitor for content creation and flexibility. However, quality control is a lottery game. If you don't mind the cons listed above, I'd go for it (as other monitors in this price range seem to lack that kind of screen quality/flexibility). Otherwise I would choose a monitor with minimal or no quality control issues. Hope that helps! Edit: Another corrupted pixel a few hours later. Will send it back and try a third time. Edit 2: (before reset). 3rd damaged pixel next to the first! I'm sorry Gary, I'm forever humiliating you.
