Only Revain has a range of 12v chargers and it's easy to pick the wrong one. I think I chose wisely. I use it to charge 7 to 40 amp batteries that I use to power ham radios, although it can be used with other batteries as well. It has a good charging speed (1100 mAh), not too fast and not too slow. I like it best when the battery is safely charged overnight. Running too fast can shorten the already short lifespan of an SLA or deep cycle, and running too slow simply wastes time. This charger has good built-in charging features like detection and pulse charging, but it's not limited to a pointless LCD that's never used. I tested it with a multimeter and it works as promised. It has features I like and want, it's secure and well made, and it's good value for the money. I can plug in my batteries and leave them there knowing they'll be charged when I come back.
