One Bottle Is Not Enough
I used the same soda, salt and instructions as the other job. Both lots had 2 cotton rugs; the naval party weighed slightly less. For some reason they came out medium blue instead of dark blue - dark blue is very deep and dark, like the color of the US flag, or even a little lighter. Instead it is the color of a deep blue sky. I need to buy more and maybe use two bottles - the difference between the aquamarine result and this result was so different. Even a longer dyeing time would not change the shade at all; I wonder if the bottle was mislabeled somehow.
