When I received the product, the reel was working fine, but it was obvious that the box was stuck. No matter how I moved it, the step would get stuck at 30 degrees. I used a small flathead screwdriver to remove the bezel and a Phillips screwdriver to remove the protective clear plastic. After shaking the gears for a few seconds, they started moving by themselves as I rotated the device. Now it works as intended, but it would be nice if it worked right away.
