The broken part fell apart in the engine, resulting in loss of braking and collision.
For 2010 Jetta 2.5L 5 Cylinder this item fell apart inside the engine, the drive linkage on the back that connects to the camshaft which depended peacefully on rivets or whatever on the rest of the assembly is. This part of the rivet pin assembly came out and separated making the pump inefficient and as we all know this pump pressurizes the braking system. Needless to say, it wasn't a good day that the part was out of service the day after I installed it.
