I bought this 'urn' for my elderly cat who passed away on January 31st. The bat is huge for the cinder cat. When my cat was cremated, she was returned to me in her own urn. Luckily the urn it came in fit this one. This does not mean that this purchase was useless. This purchase actually served as a really good "box" for my cat's final resting place. It has space for a smaller urn and additional souvenirs. I was able to add the following: 1. My cat's smaller urn2. 20 photos of my cat3. his death certificate 4. Nice farewell message from our veterinarian5. His collar and his tag In addition, you can of course place a photo of your animal in front of this urn. On the right side I placed the print of his paw that the crematorium had given me. Look at the photos. The quality and usefulness of this urn has really helped me process my cat's death. I think it was fair to celebrate his time with me. PS I gave it a star for "gift" because it doesn't seem like the right gift for people. Choosing an urn for a family member should be personal. It's kind of embarrassing to type, in my opinion.
