I have many label manufacturers. I love to organize and prefer different types of label printers depending on my needs. I ordered this to have for workshop use only. What I really like is the bright color scheme, the basic design, the label style and the fact that it comes with so many ribbons. What I don't like is the cheap build quality, border options, lack of fonts, and unintuitive way to access additional features. The body of this label printer is much cheaper than I expected. be. From the looks of it, I expected it to be a more popular "industrial use" model. It is not. The case is made of cheap plastic and is very light. I would have very serious concerns if I dropped it on a concrete floor, I doubt it will survive the fall. On the other hand, I like the color. This does not exactly match the product photos which show a pumpkin orange colour, it looks more like a tomato orange colour. However, the color is perfect for not getting lost in a chaotic environment like a garage or workshop. The style is also perfect for industrial use. It appears to be a very simple machine and most of the commonly used options are clearly visible. It's only when you need advanced options like punctuation that you really need to delve into the settings. Another reviewer of this article stated that there was no apostrophe option, I would like to point out that this is incorrect. There is an option for the apostrophe, but you have to go to the punctuation menu and find it. It's not just a simple button option. The font options are also fairly limited, which is further evidence that it's intended for more industrial or commercial use. I've attached photos showing the font options: small, medium, and large, as well as the regular, bold, and italic settings. These are the only options. I've also attached photos of the underline and line options in a box, as well as a rounded box. It's nice to have and I was happy to see they didn't oversize the labels too much. Field options are limited. They offer a choice of narrow borders, but all of my photo samples come with the "narrow" option. This results in labels having narrow margins at the end of anything you print, but not at the beginning. At the beginning of the label is marked where it should be cut for a narrow label. This is not a unique design and clearly mimics the way Brother label printers create borders. This is not surprising as this machine uses Brother branded TZe ribbons. I appreciate this as it's easy to get branded or generic TZe tapes and means I don't have to order them directly from this company. basic labels. Comes with three straps and batteries which is a nice bonus. However, my biggest criticism of this car is the price. It's more expensive than many big-name label makers and has fewer features. For the current asking price of around $50, I would suggest buying from a reputable brand.
