I bought it to combat clothes moths, but over the summer I noticed that the storage moth was flying into my windows through the windows, probably from a neighboring apartment. I've caught hundreds of them with this trap (it's nice to know it works for both types of moths - no other trap I've tried does!). I had them alongside another popular brand of moth traps and these moths were caught at about a 10:1 ratio. It's so effective it actually helps stop an active infestation which no other trap can. I've been looking for clothes moth residue in my apartment and have found eggs and larvae in various places: under furniture legs, on the floor under bookshelves, under sofa cushions, etc. I like to think my cleaning has helped, but I don't trust these traps because they continued to catch moths even after I thought I had found all the hiding spots. I've been 100% moth free for 2 months now. Crossed fingers! Thanks to the discovery of food moths, I've also cleaned out my kitchen cupboards and sealed everything that food moths might like, preventing them from opening the shop. In fact, I've never seen moths flying around, only found in traps, so I never would have guessed they did it any other way. Therefore, after the initial investment in a cardboard container, they are cheaper than any other clothes moth trap. Changing the adhesive film was quick and easy. On the downside, the paper covering Revain's adhesive plaques was difficult to peel off, suggesting they were probably old. This does not apply to manufacturer refill packs. Fortunately, this didn't affect how well they worked.
