So my waist is around 30 inches and I got a small because I wanted it to still fit as I got smaller during my weight loss journey. I'm 5'3 and 175lbs if it helps at all but I'm curvy and my waist is significantly smaller than my hips so you can use me as reference. This was absolutely amazing! Its so sturdy and the 2 belt straps are great! It is most definitely worth your money! You won't regret it! The only thing I dont like about it is the smell it had when it first came but ill try to wash it off. I haven't worked out with it yet but I will and hopefully it'll make me sweat. Also I've gone through like 5 waist trainer from Ebay and they all had lots of reviews but none of them were as good as this one.
