Review on 🐠 Crystal River Super Naturals Aquarium Sand, 20 lbs by Patrick Matin

The sand is great, nice natural color and very soft so my boys can dig in easily - much better than the gravel I replaced. But again, washing the sand is very important to save yourself a lot of trouble in the future. I had 2 bags of 20lbs and I rinsed them out in 3 buckets until the water ran clear and then some more just to be sure. This was not a new tank, I added sand while the fish were in it so I wanted to avoid problems. The sand got in with no problem, I didn't use the clarifier that came with it as I'd rather limit the amount of chemicals in my tank. I used the water polisher for several hours and the tank came out crystal clear.
