Sometimes you need an extra edge beyond hand drawing skills and I often turn to these templates. Personally, I recommend the larger ellipse templates over the smaller options (but both are even better!), and they give you a wide variety of curve options for product design. For those interested in drawing ellipses, I also recommend checking out the discussion of the ellipse in the Scott Robertson Methods - Volume 1: Drawing a Basic Shape in Perspective DVD and the Ellipse Tips in Timely's Illustrator's Ellipse Tips (No. T -99) to view. Two very different viewpoints, but there's always a trick or lesson everyone can learn from good examples!
