This item was purchased for Live Zoom presentations and social media video recording. The headset has a good microphone that cancels out noise a little better than the Lava microphone, but nonetheless both do their job perfectly. For those wondering how to connect to iPhone, see the first picture: - Connect the receiver box to the microphone side of the Y-splitter (included). - Connect the end of the splitter to the Lightning connector. Adapter (not included) - Connect the adapter to your phone. I would recommend buying an official Apple Lightning adapter instead of a non-genuine one as it may not work properly. A headset is not required for the audio to work, but it can be used as an audio monitor. To connect to a laptop that only has a headset input: - Connect the receiver to the microphone input of a USB audio splitter (not included). - Connect the USB receiver to the laptop. Drivers are not required. This should work on both Mac and PC. For Zoom Video, make sure you select USB Audio as the audio input. In general, an easy-to-use device.
