Review on 📚 Soft White Sauder Beginnings 3-Shelf Bookcase with a Finishing Touch by Ronald Messina

For the price and reviews, I had high hopes for these bookshelves. For reference, 2 bookshelves can hold about 200 children's books (anthologies, cardboard books, stories of different sizes). We use them in our 2.5 year old's bedroom so I didn't want to spend too much on something that will end up being donated or thrown in the trash. BUT I didn't expect the laminate to peel off after 5 minutes of assembly and there would be missing parts (pegs for shelves)! Also, I had to buy a small battery-powered screwdriver for $22 from Home Depot since a regular hand-held screwdriver wouldn't get the job done. As a woman who's collected her share of furniture at Amazon, IKEA, Target, and Walmart, I had to run for a tool for the first time. Now I also have to go back to the hardware store to get some extra pins to hold the second shelf. I will say that they are well packaged to avoid damaging or scratching the corners.
