I'm a little disappointed with my purchase. I recently changed my desk and needed a surge protector strip with a long cord to service all of the electronics on my desk so I don't have cords running past my chair (just waiting to trip over them) to the only outlet available in my office. While the cable on this extender is the right length and I love the four USB ports, the headache-inducing howl makes me unable to use it if one or more of the devices I'm connecting to it isn't working. . actually charges, but instead only maintains a full charge. Have to go back and look for a better one.
