These fit very well -I am a size 3x in pants, and I have one ankle that is enlarged. Most graduated compression or compression socks are very difficult or impossible to get over that ankle but I have no problem with these.These feel very good and they don't cut into me anywhere. The come up above my calves and don't cut into my knees, or roll down. They are tight enough to work though, and do a good job of keeping my feet from swelling.These are not so delicate that I worry about running or sticking a finger through them.The white color would work well for nurses.
