Excellent quality cage! I didn't have any paint shavings, so I didn't need touch up paint just yet. I believe sticking and peeling toys will eventually wear off along with the paint. The bottom drawer was dented in transit I believe even though it was well packaged. I emailed the company and they have already sent a new box! Pretty easy to put together but definitely helps if you have an extra hand to help. I wanted a cage with a play lid but they don't make it with the right bungie/parakeet spacing so I built my own play area and they love it! I used coco coir for the top so they can get food and made the cage a climbing wall inside and out as they can't fly yet. Rolls up fairly easily if you need to move it from room to room.
