I don't know where to start but living in Hawaii where the climate is very hot the pants protected me from a sudden downpour. My lower half was completely dry, no problem. However, my knees were hurting from the knee pads or the liners that protect the kneecaps, which were constantly rubbing the tops of both knees, breaking the skin. Luckily I wear shorts and not pants so it should be fine in a few days. Now I don't know why it happened; Maybe the pants are new or I have long legs and I need to adjust some things before I get on the bike. If anyone has an idea, please let me know. I was actually thinking of putting on some cream jelly to stop the rubbing in the knee area and/or cutting old socks to cover the knee area. The price of the pants is great, the vents are amazing, I didn't feel the heat while riding. Knee issue aside, these are great breeches.
