The product appears to be excellent although the instructions are not as clear as they could be. . A few things that make filter changing a little easier/better: 1. Put a towel under the housings as mentioned by other reviewers.2. Drain the tank BEFORE changing the filters. This will remove most of the filtered water from the system before you open it up to install new filters. The instructions state that the water from the first tank must be drained before use, but if the tank is already full after changing the filters, you are unnecessarily draining the filtered water that can be used while the tank fills up (this takes several hours, depending on the water pressure). I closed the valve on the filter, then drained the tank, then closed the valve on the tank before proceeding with the replacement. After installing new filters, bubbles appeared in the first tank. I assume it's ok. The old sediment filter looked pretty nasty, although it's probably an invisible thing that's really unhealthy. I cut the old particulate filter apart and it still looked pretty clean towards the center (the "clean" side). The filter was 12 months old.
