As a regular tourist, I bought a lot of drinking water hoses. After learning that the cheap ones from Wally only last about 6 months before they start leaking at the fittings joint. Yes I use a pressure regulator and yes I try to use new washers. They only last so long before developing the same defect. Also, these hoses don't coil up well when the temperature drops below 40. So I decided to try this Camco hose, which stays soft and flexible, is made in the USA, and has stainless steel fittings. Sounds good. It was flexible but after a week the stainless steel fitting just fell off the rubber hose in the middle of the night. What a mess. Definitely a design question. I'm sending it back and trying a different brand. Can anyone make a quality hose?
