Saved my hard drive
I had so many different power supplies that plugged into my WD hard drive and they would turn the light on, but none of them made it spool up. I found out that even though the plug fit my hard drive, the voltage of them weren't enough to properly run my hard drive. After some research, I found out I needed this plug.Problem solved! My WD hard drive works as it should and the nice thing is, this plug comes with extra adapters so maybe it can pull double, or triple duty for you with other drives or wired devices.
