Don't repeat my mistake. For the Honda (at least) there should be a green socket that allows you to hook up a new pump by simply pushing the red tabs into the socket: blue-yellow to black and blue-red to white. Do not cut the green connector or you will have to strip and tape the wires. Scotchlock fittings (shown in blue) are easy to use for this purpose, but good for a try only. The rest works great! The pump strength is just as good as before.
