Good value for money and what I use it for
I bought these in preparation for a much more complex homemade stainless steel gravity water filter. This is part of the pre-filter. At the bottom of the first chamber, after the water has passed through several different media types, these 6 filters completely clean the water as it enters the second chamber with a much more expensive filter.
- The ceramic filter keeps dirt, sand and other particles out of your Zen drinking water. Change filters frequently to ensure optimal performance of your Zen water systems. The surface of the dome consists of millions of pores with a diameter of 0.2 microns, while most bacteria are between 0.5 and 1.0 microns in size.
