I understand that the Type-C standard is tricky sometimes. Type-C chargers need to agree with the device on the correct voltage to use and the amperage of the charger must be enough to drive the device for power to actually be delivered successfully.With that said, I purchased the F1TP DMW-DCC8 USB-C Power Adapter DC Coupler Set for my Panasonic Lumix GX-8. I tried this adapter on every Type-C charger I have, a cell phone charger, a powerbank, and one that's rated for the Nintendo Switch (enough for the console to switch to TV mode). None of them got the slightest reaction from this adapter.I really wanted the flexibility of the Type-C connection for my Lumix camera, especially if I wanted to use is as a webcam through an HDMI capture card, but this one just didn't work out.
