I've seen several bloggers talking about this and the great results. I was very hesitant to shave my face but I figured it wouldn't be a big investment so I'll give it a try. Wow, I had a surprise. First surprise: the amount of dead skin and peach fuzz that fell off my face. I figured I was taking good care of my skin by exfoliating regularly. Apparently not, because frankly I was embarrassed by the amount that drained from my face. Second surprise: they are so easy to use. I wash my face with cleanser and dry it completely. Then apply gentle downward strokes to my face at about a 45 degree angle and with moderate pressure. It takes a bit of learning, but once you get the hang of it, it will be very easy. When I'm done, I rinse my face with water, then use Thayer Facial Toner and then my moisturizing routine. I do this twice a week before bed. Makes my face smooth like a baby's bottom. Surprise 3: Not only does my skin feel great, it also looks a lot better. My makeup goes on smoothly with no patches of dry or dead skin. I feel like my moisturizer is also able to penetrate better. All of this says that I believe. My 59 year old skin looks better than ever.
