So basically this is a plastic stand with adjustable legs. It has a plastic floating plate that is supposed to make it splash proof? The anti spill is great. The adjustable legs are nice too. Splash proof? Not so much. Our other water dish for our 2 large dogs is a gallon and a half gravity fed bowl. Our dogs are sloppy and make a mess through half the kitchen. I was looking for something to help with the constant wet sock issue. This doesn’t really help with the sloppy drinker situation. While it does keep them from spilling or pulling their bowl over I’m not really sure what the float is supposed to do other than maybe slow them down. The elevated bowl is nice but between 2 dogs the 2 liters isn’t really that much water if it doesn’t fix my issue. Our other water dish was actually cheaper than this so there’s that. It’s not a bad dog bowl it just depends on what you are looking for. Would I recommend it? Maybe the guy who has the blind pups review has your answer but otherwise I’m just not sure it’s what I was looking for. Splash proof? No. spill proof with raised legs? Yes… but so are so many other options. 30$ is a fair price it just depends on what you want
