The hood was only installed a few days ago, the instructions are clear. Everything you need to mount it on the wall was included. This is a beautiful appliance that fits perfectly in my kitchen. I'm glad I have a front-lit hood because I feel like I can see better. A lot of people have complained that the fan was "noisy" but fans are loud, you can pay A LOT more for a quieter fan but in the end it gets the job done. The controls are a little odd, when I press the fan low button it turns the fan on at high speed and then takes a few seconds to go down to its low speed. I like the minute timer function when the power button is pressed while the fan is on, as well as the direct shutdown when the fan speed button is pressed. Good range of cooker hoods like this one. No transport damage. I suggest removing the foil before installing as the mating pieces will prevent you from removing it completely.
