It works as intended.
I bought this ignition module for my 1978 Ford F150 because I thought the original 41 year old unit was defective. As it turned out, the problem was with the inductive sensor in the manifold, as corrosion was affecting the wiring. I had a spare in the glove box, changed it and the engine started right away. Since I already installed the new ignition module, I left it in. I'm fine so I'll leave it there and leave the original on a spare. Five stars for what works as intended.
