Update: I connected a USB hub to a regular USB port and connected a mouse and keyboard to it instead. I still can't use the hotkey toggle, but it shows up correctly on Windows and I can now use the GHub mouse software. That's enough for my needs. I bought this because it said it had a "pass-through" mode for more compatibility. But my mouse and keyboard are still not working properly. My mouse is Logitech G604. This works when I use "pass-through" mode and set the mouse to use internal storage, but my computer only sees it as a regular USB device, so the GHub software doesn't see it. My keyboard is a Goldtouch v2 split keyboard. It doesn't work at all when plugged into the keyboard port, regardless of the "through" setting. I can't even get the Num Lock or Caps Lock lights to light up, so it's like it's not even getting power. When I plug it into a USB 2.0 port, it works, but I can't use hotkeys to switch between my two devices, and I can't plug another device into that port like I originally intended. I connected another old keyboard I had to this port and it works, so the port itself isn't bad, it's just not compatible with my Goldtouch keyboard at all. Given the basic mouse/keyboard capabilities, I don't see why they can't support all devices. At the very least, the "Through" should route the signal like a normal USB hub so the PC recognizes them.
