Carefully crafted LED strips

I have bought and installed quite a few different sets of LED strips in my time. Although they were all eventually installed successfully, the development of these products just didn't make sense to me. Either the strips were too long, or they were difficult to cut, or I had to buy extra connectors, or the case was rigid and required a perfectly smooth surface for gluing, or the strips could not be chained and each had to be straight on connected to a power source even though they all had the same cord length etc etc. In my experience LED strip lights have always seemed unnecessarily complicated to install and lacked versatility or just shoddy and/or cheap engineering. And that brings me to this particular strip. FINALLY a set that makes technical sense! Installation wasn't difficult at all, and I'm pretty sure almost anyone could do it even if they got lost. The design is perfect for a number of different configurations, but nothing more than creating a long and complete line of light that can navigate any curves when needed. A wire goes to the end, and current flows along the line from one set of LEDs to the other to the end. Easy. Easy. The switch itself is small and unassuming, but unexpectedly functional. Touch, it turns the LEDs on and off and has additional functions too! When the light is on, just touch and hold your finger on the switch and you can now dim the light to how you want it. No need to install an app on your phone, buy a dimmer separately, or connect the strip to Wi-Fi/Bluetooth. It's just a thoughtful, thoughtful engineering effort by a team that seems to understand how these lights are most likely to be used. Plus in my book. While LEDs certainly emit warm light, incandescent bulbs are definitely not warm. Instead, it has a slightly more yellowish hue, which I confess annoyed me when I first turned it on. But since I've been using it in my kitchen, where the light quality is almost made for the kitchen or bathroom, it's grown rapidly. And that was before I even realized that the strip has a dimming feature, which also helps soften it if I want to. I would (and will) happily buy these strips again. Undoubtedly a 5 star product in my book. If you are looking for under cabinet or shelf lighting, just buy it.
