These are great for small jobs but their size can be deceiving. Likewise the country of origin. Using a tape measure, I uploaded 5 photos the size of my arm (which is long and skinny). They appear to be of the same style and quality as Chinese tongs. There is no country of origin marking anywhere on the pliers. I thought Irwin was an American tool company whose tools are made in the States. In this case it doesn't look like it. I suggest looking for either a US made instrument or a cheaper pair. Just my 2 cents.
